Checking in…
Well, it has been almost three weeks and I’ve done pretty good. Even with a vacation and the 4th, I have managed to keep things under control. Not so much exercise though - I need more of that. I want to walk/hike more with my son because he isn’t very active either and that’s my fault!!! I need to set a good example for him with food and exercise - teach him good habits that he can carry into adulthood, Lord knows, I didn’t develop any!!! Trying to do this stuff when you are a busy mom takes a lot of concentration and awareness. I can’t believe how unaware I am sometimes of what I eat and how much!!! The no food after 7p is really helping I think. I did a lot of mindless eating after 7p - I still do the mindless eating, but at least it is not as much. I need to get really good with the daily vitamins too. I do well with the water, but I want to get off the diet pop. I just called a girlfriend tonight and we are going to hike on Tuesday morning. I need to plan more physical activities and less food/drink ones! I am loving all the support from everyone and am eager to return the favor. Thanks to everyone!!! Be good to yourselves because you deserve it!!!
